Apartment Style Condominium
A multi-story building subdivided into
one-story units. Apartments may include
a balcony and/or a garage space.
Low-rise 1-3 floors
Mid-rise 4-5 floors
Hi-rise 6+ floors
 
Manor, Villas, Coach Homes
A group of 4-12 units in a building.
Some with common entryways,
others with private entrance.
One or two level living.
Single or double garage.
 
Row Townhouse
Groupings of townhouses with common
walls on the sides. Windows in front
and back. Two or more levels.
Attached or detached garages.
They commonly have patios
divided by privacy fences.
 
Four units with common walls on
the back and one side. One, two,
or three level homes. Usually a
double attached garage.
 
Twinhome
Two units that share a common
center wall. Usually all on one
level with double garage, some
have basements. There are also
twinhomes without an association.
 
Single detached townhome
or cluster, patio home
Single family home, except that
the residents share ownership
and maintenance of the land
in the development.
